I am a fan of adult movies, but find that it doesn't matter whatmovie I watch, there is always at least one scene ( and usually more )that I'm not really interested in and would never watch again ( ifI've even watched it all the way through the first time ). (Of course, this has been rectified to some extent, and themusic industry's everlasting regret, by Napster, Kazaa and the like).I now have the songs that I like sitting on my hard drive, without anyof the songs that I don't like or aren't particularly fond of. If I could have the scenes that I like, with myfavourite actressess and/or fantasies without having to burn my cashon scenes that I'm not really interested in, that would be great.Obviously I know there is Kazaa, where you can do this, but I findthat having a slow network connection ( Australia is the backwater ofthe world ), combined with the fact that good scenes are hard to find,that once you find ones you want there often not of good quality andnever DVD quality and many just aren't around at all, makes the wholeexperience frustrating. Even when they do find what theylike, the quality leaves something to be desired compared to watchinga DVD on a big-screen tv. That's one advantage the video business hasover the music business where the downloads sound almost as good asthe official CDs . On the other hand, there are legitamiteVideo-On-Demand solutions and official web sites from variouscompanies where you can watch or download full movies for under $10and a lot of specials online and in retail stores where you can buyDVDs for under that price too. The scenes could be downloaded asyou suggest, or even custom burned by the studio on a blank DVD-R discand mailed out. If the company was burning custom discs, I wouldsuggest $3 a scene, with a minimum of three scenes. resistance to this idea. I think sometimes the studio is aware thereis only one or two good scenes on the disc, and the rest is justfiller. This is not unlike the music industry, when they release analbum filled with stinkers and one hit single by a weak artist. Inthis situation, studios would like to keep pushing the whole packageas it is. It also forces consumers to rent/purchase many movies inorder to see all the scenes a particular girl has done.
