A movie will start playing as soon as all objects exisiting in frame one are downloaded, but will stop and wait in later frames for any additional content that has not yet downloaded completely. The idea is to introduce new objects only just as they are needed and have enough frames before that time to allow that part of the movie to arrive before it's expected to play. A movie clip has its own timeline, and you can think of it as occupying only the frame in the comp timeline where it is introduced. It is still a single object in its own right, therefore all content in a movie clip must download before that frame of the comp timeline is complete and playable. If your movie plays in a predictable order, it's often useful to organize it as a sequence of movie clips in a comp timeline that's stopped. Scene one is a clip in frame one of the comp, so nothing starts until that clip downloads -- but while it's playing for 15 seconds (or however long), that's lots of time for scene two, three and four to download. A script at the end of the scene one clip advances the compt timeline to frame two, where the scene two clip exists. While scene two is playing, scenes five, six and seven have time to download. And so on. A preloader is probably not needed at all, unless scene one is quite bulky. DOWNLOAD MOVIE CLIP : First of all, don't use frame numbers. Apply label names to frames and referto them by that name for navigation about the timeline.Second, you don't need to wait until the end of the movie to load your soundfiles just because that's when they first get played. You can put a sound ina movie clip, with a blank first frame (sound starts in second frame), andwith a Stop action in the first frame. You can then place an instance ofthat movie clip on the main timeline so that it begins loading anywhere fromthe beginning of the movie on. It won't run until you do a Tell Targetaction to the instance name of that movie clip with a Go To Next Frame andPlay. In this fashion, if your multiple sounds aren't used until the end ofthe movie, you can spread out the download overhead over the entire lengthof the timeline. Just be sure to place each sound movie clip on it's ownlayer, because a blank keyframe, or a keyframe containing anything OTHERthan that movie clip, following the movie clip, will cause it to be nolonger accessible -- it is considered no longer "on the timeline". DOWNLOAD MOVIE CLIP : Urge aiuto!!ho un primo filmato swf di un peso di 60KB, poi ne ho un secondo un pò più pesante, ovvero 102KB.Rispettivamente questi due filmati sono la intro e il sito vero e proprio.Sò che c'è un modo per effettuare il Load Movie di un filmato e lasciarlo parcheggiato sino al momento giusto.In pratica volevo fare in modo che una volta caricata la intro e partita al suo terzo frame iniziasse il load movie del secondo filmato in modo che alla fine dellla presentazione non ci sarebbero sata più attese.Io ho provato, ma come ha finito il caricamento del 2 filmato lo sostituisce alla intro in corso.-- Posted from pop09-acc.tin.it [212.216.176.72] via Mailgate.ORG Server - ok..se ho capito bene tu hai due filmati (1 e 2).Vuoi che si carichi il num.1 e quando questo e' in esecuzione,venga scaricato il num.2Se cosi' vuoi fare, devi impostare il "target".prova cosi': tra il filmato num. 1 e num.2 inserisci un MOVIECLIP che si chiama CARICAMENTO (che magari mostra la scritta "Stoscaricando il secondo filmato") eppoi quando chiami il LOADMOVIEci metti come target il MOVIE CLIP "CARICAMENTO". In questo modosi verificheranno due possibilita':se alla fine del filmato num.1 l'utente ha gia' scaricato ilfilmato due, al posto del MOVIE CLIP "CARICAMENTO" vedra' ilfilamto num.2, se invece il download del Num.2 non e' ancorafinito vedra' la scritta "Sto scaricando il secondo movie" e soloquando sara' finito il download comparira' il secondo MOVIe.TUTTO CHIARO?
